Thanks, Pass the Food
This is the month that here in the USA we celebrate our Thanksgiving Holiday; a tradition we trace back to the early colonial period. There are folk tales about its origin but the official holiday was formalized by President Abraham Lincoln:
On this day in 1863, expressing gratitude for a pivotal Union Army victory at Gettysburg, President Abraham Lincoln announces that the nation will celebrate an official Thanksgiving holiday on November 26, 1863.*

Ephesians 5:20 ESV
Giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

We Thank God and Share our Good Fortune
From the beginning GOD has instructed us to help those who lack food and shelter the widows, the orphans, the strangers the infirm.
Deuteronomy 24:19-22 ESV
“When you reap your harvest in your field and forget a sheaf in the field, you shall not go back to get it. It shall be for the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow, that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands. When you beat your olive trees, you shall not go over them again. It shall be for the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow. When you gather the grapes of your vineyard, you shall not strip it afterward. It shall be for the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow. You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt; therefore I command you to do this.
SHARE FOOD DO NOT WASTE IT
We Christians Give Thanks Every Day

Our daily bread is a symbol of much more than food we thank GOD for what Jesus has done for us and even now lives in heaven has our advocate defending us from Satan’s assaults and sowing GOD our righteousness granted by The GRACE of GOD.
Matthew 6:9-13 ESV
Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
