What makes us Christians? Part IV

The last segment of the core tenets of Christianity require more study than what I can provide in my blog.  If you want to know more or have trouble understanding these I suggest a Bible study or at least a quality study guide; one (of many) such book is:

16. Justification and Adoption

This means that it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God, but the children of the promise are counted as offspring.

John 14:2 ESV

In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?

18. Final Judgment

Revelation 20:11-12 ESV

Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done.

Galatians 6:9 ESV

And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

20. What will happen when Jesus returns?

Matthew 24:36 ESV

“But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.

1 Corinthians 15:52 ESV

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.

I hope these four blog posts encourage you as a Christian to study GOD’s Word: go to church, go to Sunday School, attend Bible Study or read commentaries. If you have not yet accepted Jesus Christ I encourage you to do so now.

Share the Word . . . Christian revival can help turn the trends toward evil back. Thank You.
