Ah Ha! I suppose you thought I was going to join in on the sexual harassment news of the day: NO

I am going to highlight the relationship of Joseph and Mary when she was found to be carrying baby Jesus.

In the Jewish culture of the their time a betrothed couple were already in a binding contract almost as secure as marriage itself. What was expected was much: the man must prepare a home secure and sufficient for a family and the woman must make all the necessary preparations for her becoming a wife and a mother. Both were expected to remain pure: no sexual relations between them and, most definitely not with another person.
Proverbs 18:22 ESV
He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord.
So when Joseph learned of Mary’s pregnancy he had every right to break the engagement (equal to a divorce) or quietly vacate the betrothal. He did not.

Mark 10:9 ESV
What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.”

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 ESV
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
